Revolver Picture Thread

Never once did Joe say I'm sorry or we can fix it. He was stuck on that's they way they are and we can't do anything about it. As he was blaming the imported parts I reminded him that Cimarron's name was on the gun. I really wanted to like this gun. This will be my final dealing with Cimarron.
You only get once to make a first impression.

Thanks for sharing this experience. I'll learn from your unfortunate experience.

When the distributors push back to Cimarron because they're tired of dealing with returns, perhaps Cimarron will take the time to manage their supplier (as is obvious can be done, if they care to).

I've been looking for a prelock Smith revolver for quite some time now but to no avail. I finally posted on CFF last week about my search and then THIS ONE FOUND ME :D

March was "cheap 22s that remind me of my childhood" month at the gettin place.

The Charter Arms Pathfinder 6 inch was in the box and appeared to be unfired. Why on earth that would be the case I have no clue. That can no longer be said of the old girl if it was indeed true.

The Charter Arms Pathfinder 3 inch was a well broken-in gift from a coworker.

The H&R 929 nine shot snubbie was also in the box and was most DEFINITELY unfired. Once again, why? She is currently riding in the golf cart glove box stoked full of .22 CB Shorts.

I love finding the NICE ones just as much as the next guy. But there is something kinda cool about the budget gals from certain eras as well.

Sorry for the cell phone picture. I have an old Security Six that is not worth much but is one of my favorites. It was getting pretty bad with little blueing left and some pitting here an here. I had @Claxton blast and parkerize it for a very reasonable price. I just put it back together. I am very happy with the results.

I'm a single action guy, but I hafta admit to jonezin' for both a 6" & 8 3/8" M57.
Me too... I don't have a 6", but I have a 4" and a 8 3/8" M57.

I've often thought about what perticular make & model defines "Revolver". Certainly, a Colt SAA defines "Six Gun". Some folks think a Colt Python defines "Revolver". I think a S&W Model 57 is a strong contender.
