Needed a new outside speaker/doorbell module for my whole house intercom system. There was no product that would match up to this Nutone brandfrom 1991. Found a module that was used on EBay for $250.00 which is 8 times the cost when installed.

Bought a Ring product doorbell with video and added an interior Ring chime module that simple plugs into a receptacle.

1. Doorbell with a ton of different tones.
2. Video of every door ring to the phone.
3. Produces video of the person ringing.
4. Also has motion detection alerts which can simply be set out to 165 degrees up to 30feet or less.
5. Allows me to see when Amazon and business parts are delivered. Able to tell customers I have their repair part.
6. Interior chime can be set to the same or different alerts. I have a large dog barking tone to keep intruders out.
7. Easy to install. Three products operating differently. I have the battery module that needs to charged 3-6 months. Battery health will be sent to the phone when needing charged.
8. Ability to connect to neighbors and keep a watch on their property.
9. Audio from the door and recorded video. Tell someone from remote places you are home but cannot come to the door right now. Sit on the toilet and entertain guest.

Many more features. $30 a year gives you cloud storage for occurrences. Love these products. Anybody else using this product?

I haven't used one, but I've seen several reviews where there is a BIG lag spike between the bell getting pushed and it actually alerting you.

Depends on the carrier. Yes there is a 15 second lag. I failed to mention you can hear audio and speak to the person. With the lag you just see if your package came as the FedEx driver leaves. Video review is immediately attainable.

Is their any product that would not have a lag? Unless your phone is connected to 100 mile long fiber optic cable than they all lag.

Lag of some seconds is a bit less of problem than the longer delays to respond I've seen noted.

Possible. I tested it. 15 seconds from ring to alert on phone. If phone is in hand it takes about 7 seconds of normal pace to see the porch and speak to the person outside. If your home hell just go to the door. If not watch what is happening or has happened at home.

Product also has live view function so you can monitor the front lawn or kids playing. Can be paired with floodlights that have cameras and zone sensors.

I've found that channel to be pretty spot on. Well except the prices are all in funny hat old lady money.

I’m not saying that there isn’t a delay but show me the product that does all this and is better. The guy in the video bats for the other team with his stupid puppet. He listed questions and got answers wrong. Also said hardwiring and battery would make a difference. He doesn’t know shit. He plays with tech toys without real tech knowledge. We call those guys POSERS. Where is the superior product he suggest? Don’t exist.

You sound awfully defensive mate, I'll leave you to it. Enjoy your doorbell gadget thing.

Nah. I don’t have to go to Sesame Street puss guys to get tech info. You posted a video of a guy giving answers on a product that were not even correct answers and he has no knowledge of ac/dc power. He’s a sissy with a bad channel. Puppets is really his talent. Maybe add some alternative lifestyle Teletubbies from London named Laalaa, Dipsy, and Tinky Winky.

I had one for maybe 6 months. Do I think that they are worth the money....YES. Do I think that they can improve on the alert time to you cell phone...YES. I have it setup on my wife's I-phone and my Samsung and some how my alerts have stopped coming through. Need to reset my phone. Would like to get the ring light for the backyard.
