About a week ago I placed an order with RMR bullets for some 9 MM and 6.5 CM ELDs. I got the 6.5 in within a week and yesterday I check the status of the 9 MM and it said complete. Worried that someone stole them off the front pouch I gave RMR a call and left a VM message. Out of the blue the owner/manager just gave me a call explaining that when he produces the shipping label the computer status of the order goes to complete.
He said that they just got some 124 RN bullets in yesterday and was hoping to process it over the weekend and that they make in house the 9 MM hp bullets and it is the slowest machine they have.
Point of the post, RMR did not have to return my call but I truly respect them for taking care of their customers.

I have ordered multiple times from RMR. They are quality folks and will take care of you. They recently sent out an advisory email to order before they had to raise prices but also advised they were running a little behind with the recent run on components. I will continue to give them my business when I need to order again.

RMR is solid. I wish they didn’t change their 147 9mm shape/design when they went from plated to FMJ, but otherwise they’re one of my favorite sources of bullets.

This email came Friday:
Thanks for all the orders! I thought it would be good to give you guys an update. Last week I sent out an email that talked about shipping, bullet machines, and a price increase. Well, a ton has happened just this week so I need to update you on what is going on.

Our #1 priority this week has been getting as many orders filled as possible. We had a couple of machines that really needed some TLC and they finally decided that they wouldn't run until they were given some special attention. We were able to get them all up and running again. This was perfect timing because we were mostly out of lead and copper anyway. Speaking of lead and copper, that was what I spent a good part of my week trying to nail down. I'm SOOO happy to tell you that I was able to secure the lead and copper we will need to fill all the open orders plus the ones that are still coming in. We are expecting another shipment of copper and lead next week with weekly releases thereafter until we are all caught up.

OH! I almost forgot! We finally got all four of our lead core machines running. This is new for us. Believe it or not, we have been making all 9 of our different bullets on just two lead core machines until just last week. It has been a ton of work having to continuously change machines back and forth among the different weight cores. The fourth core machine went online just yesterday. These two new machines will be able to feed the new FMJ machine with capacity to spare! Plus, we won't have to shut down as often to switch machines back and forth among the different weights. WIN!

This brings up another point. The two new bullet machines that were supposed to have shipped to us last week were delayed because the usual trucking companies didn't really want to take that load for us. The good news is that bribes were solicited and paid so they were finally picked up and are on the way to our loving home. We hope to have them installed and making 370 additional bullets per minute by Friday next week. It may take a little longer but I think we can do it.

Lastly, the reason you haven't seen a price increase yet is because it is the lowest thing on our priority list. It will eventually happen, but Joe and I have just been too busy with far more important things like customer service and order processing to get around to it. So, this time I'm not going to give you a date, I'm just gonna say that it's coming. Probably next week.

Once again. Thank you so much for the orders and for your patience with our delayed shipping. Things are about to speed up. Oh, and I wanted to let you know that if you've ordered something that is in stock and you need it right away please let us know. We have so many orders we've yet to process that the stuff that is in stock and ready to ship hasn't even been printed off yet. That will be priority #1 next week but feel free to let us know if you need your in-stock stuff quickly. We want everyone to get their orders as fast as humanly possible.

My postal lady hates me when RMR packages show up. In the past, I had them delivered to where I worked at the time, the postal carrier there could handle them much better. One time, though, he left 120 lbs of bullets in the mailbox on the street. LOL

Last shipment of bullets I had the mail carrier opened the back door of her truck and pushed the box off the edge with her foot. She then walked to the door and told me I had a package.

Mine was nicer, she came to the door and asked if I could help. When I opened the door, she said "I'm so glad you are home and can help me with the boxes". LOL.

I think in the future I will leave instructions for them to hold the packages so I can come pick them up. The post office isn't too far from my house.

Good thing they pack them well!

When my dogs alert me to a delivery I often go out to help if I am expecting something big, heavy, or valuable. Maybe they treat your stuff a little nicer when you aren't there if you treat them nicer when you are. I hope.
