Roll pin started punch recommendations

Thinking about getting some hollow punches used to start roll pins, not the regular roll pin punches, I have those. Mostly tired of whacking my fingers.

Is there a set that you are using that you like, or that you hate?

Bought a cheap set on amazon specifically for AR's. haven't had any issues with them.

I bought a cheap set on amazon and unfortunately they are like 3” long. Got what I paid for I guess, haven’t used them yet.

Just go cheap. It works for this purpose just fine. I have a set you can borrow if you like.

Thanks, but my use of them is sporadic and they are cheap, so best to just have them I think.
