I have a NIB Rossi 92 on the way so I can shoot up ~500 rounds of ammo I have on hand.

Considering I'll likely flip this in ~6 months when the ammo dries up, what upgrades/mods NEED to be made to this thing? I recall having a .357 a few years back that I replaced the safety on, I don't recall doing anything else.

Thread it if you have a can that’ll fit.

I have a Rossi 92 in 38 /357 . I left it stock and its a great gun with zero problems. Just plink on the range with it.

On my 45 Colt I replaced the safety with a peep sight. Awesome upgrade.

Shoot the daylights out of it as it is, especially since you plan to dump it later. Why modify it if you aren't keeping it? I've done nothing to my 92 in .44 mag and it is fine for range work.

Looking at it this morning I'm 99.99% sure that is the factory front sight.

Do they fire 44 special reliably?

I agree. If you aren't intending to keep a gun, shoot it for what it is and sell it for what you have in it. Nobody wants to pay for someone else's upgrades.

Having owned a few Rossis, they don't need any upgrades to shoot great. Just get out there and enjoy it.

I have the trigger kit from Lees Gunsmithing in my M92 45 Colt . I dont have a trigger gauge but my guess is 3 lbs. . Very crisp . Had the gun for 10+ years and Ive put a lot of suppressed rounds through it.
