I have been shooting a Savage MK II with a Simmon 4x12 x 500 scopes that I love. I know it is not really a good scope but the damn thing is dead on. The wood is a Boyd adjustable stock.

Now I am looking for bolt-on or change out a magazine release to get the magazine out a lot easier. I have altered the safety lock plate but have ordered a new one to help get the gun off safe a lot easier. I also installed the Ruger trigger. Gun shoots 3/4 MOA with a cheap red dot scope and off the shelf ammo at 60 yards. This is my plinking around gun. Whatever add-ons would you suggest?

Not interesting to breaking the bank. More like walking around money.

I order a couple releases from Brownell yesterday. If it is not what I want (color) I will look at one of the color ones. About a year ago I cut the bolt release to help it it's release but wanted on that has been modified from the factory. Should be here over the weekend and will put them in next week.

@CHRIS_WNC - isn’t it Brimstone that’s known for an awesome trigger job? I’m going to put a Kidd trigger in soon but seems like they were highly recommended on rimfire central if it’s the group I’m thinking of.

Yes. I've got one trigger with their Tier One job and that mag release. Liked it so much that I sent my other trigger group to them for the same upgrades. I haven't tried a Volq or Kidd trigger so I can't compare it to them. But it is much much better than my older factory and BX triggers.
