Listen to these two clowns speak against abolishing the ATF…..

I’m not surprised, they’re both large corporations, one publicly traded. Advocating the abolishment of any gov agency will be seen as anti-gov speech and automatically put you in the “fringe/extremist” category. I don’t think any major company is going to speak out in favor of abolishing the ATF anytime soon.

So why buy from them when I can order from some "fringe" company. I'll gladly put ruger back on the bill ruger era of don't touch them with a 10ft pole

Me neither, but a better move would have been to decline to go on the interview, rather than cucking for the ATF on national television.

Go right ahead, but don’t fool yourself into thinking a single large company is going to publicly support getting rid of the ATF.

Unfortunately I'm not at all surprised by their stance. They're hedging their bet; the longer they stay off GovCo's naughty list, the longer they turn a profit. - Watch what companies are allowed to stay standing when others are annihilated....If I was a betting man, I'm gonna say DD, Ruger, among others like Springfield will be on that list.

Watch who gets future government contracts. - SIG is next to support ATF.

Totally agree. Who knows why they decided to play along.
For DD, they may have felt they need to suck up to the ATF since one of their rifles was used in the Uvalde shooting. I wonder if that at least played into their decision, whether or not it was the right thing to do.

At the very least they can shut up
We are getting to the point where silence by companies is seen by the genpop as support of the contrary.

We saw this most recently with BLM and pride month. Simply by not posting your black square or appropriated rainbow flag you were immediately a biggot.

Those people are well beyond that. I yell about hating the police daily and those types still think I'm a fascist racist here to bring a theocracy to the usa. There is no winning those

Someone want to remind me again whose guns were specifically excluded from the AWB???

It’s a lot harder to have principles when your livelihood is on the line.
Harder, yes. But at least you get to walk away without feeling like a p****, you can tell your kids you did what you could the best you knew how, and dug your heels in when it counted. Sacrificing your liberty does nothing to help future generations.

Plenty of people before us sacrificed a lot more than their general comfort. At what point do you draw the line? If you continue to give and give and give, you'll have nothing left.

"I'm just one person, what can I do?" - said 7 billion people

Neither are any different than Springfield or Rock River. I made it public that will no longer provide UIDs for DD. I have had a business relationship with DD for 4 years providing UIDs for them and their firearms. It saddens me, I have few of their rifles/pistols. I know quite a few of the employees and they do not agree, but said “ultimately it is Marty’s name on the door”.

I'd like to think if I ever made it that big, that would have been my moment to tell everyone what I think...but I've learned that to even get to that position to be in front of Congress to say anything at all, I would have had to sell my soul many times over.

While I reiterate that I'm not surprised...it certainly is a sad day because when one domino falls, the others will too. The gun manufacturers are all getting in line to serve their masters.

Because appeasement to Comunistas always works out for private industry. 🤡
They're all battling for that elite spot at the top. Someone will get it...who's it gonna be? Castro had Cohiba cigars...who will make the "weapons of war" for the ruling class???

The answer is someone...for a time...until someone else in govt takes over the means of production.

...just like Castro did with the cigar families. All the good ones fled, and those that stayed had their businesses stolen and turned to turds.

Christ - these are major corporations- what do you expect them to say ?
If they say they want to abolish the ATF - all sorts of things could happen. The ATF could hound them for years for absolutely no reason , the IRS could find things to drag them down , unfavorable legislation

Don’t be naive , the ATF will never go away. If it did the firearms laws would roll up under another agency or a new one would be formed. Could you be dumb enough to think the government would give up anyway to regulate firearms ?
Do you honestly think if the IRS was abolished, the government would stop collecting taxes ??
If you do hit me up - I have a bridge to sell…

Edit - I do not mean to come across like a jerk, but there is zero chance the government will ever give up the power to regulate alcohol tobacco and firearms.

The bigger the business the better big gov intervention is for their profit. Big gov keeps competition down via regulation. Once you get big, you get the perks of that legislative down pressure on breaking into your market.

Just wait for the exact same thing because the Ruger CEO said a transphobic comment 15 years ago on FaceofTyrannybook? DD is already in the same boat by simply "selling" rifles when a psycho known by the system randomly bought one to shoot up a school. Appeasement never works unless you severely subvert your position from published statements. In short of Ruger having a "Support the ATF Sale" where standard capacity magazines are sold for $5 with all profits going to support lawsuits against the ATF.... they can market to xe/xir pronoun crowd.

Y'all don't understand how to fight a culture war. By remaining silent, you let legit mentally ill marxists preach to your children that you can change gender like underwear. Even ol' Elon exposed the "outrage" on social media is literally bots and to fight cancel culture is to simply resist.

So, what do the ATF agents we pay to monitor our posts say? Oh, I forgot we're just potential targets to them, democide is currently underway. Act accordingly, it's our last chance.

Large gun companies don’t care if they’re selling you threaded barrels and 30rd mags, or target crowns and 10rd mags. They exist to make money by selling you something for a higher price than it costs to make and distribute. If they can get an eight-figure contract with DoD or a huge LE agency, thats even better for them. They’re not B-corps or non-profits with advocacy missions.

The smaller companies with less marketshare (and far fewer opportunities for government contracts) stay below the radar and can afford to get spicier on social media and with their political/litigation donations. With the more niche companies, that’s how they spend their advertising and customer engagement budget.

So you think there is a chance the ATF can be abolished ?

Do I think a regulatory agency can be neutered into oblivion, especially when they do not have legislative powers? Absolutely

Do I think things will change during the current status quo? Nope

There are ways and you don't even need to read between the lines on how to accomplish it via legal means or founding fathers means.

How many weapons have been sold to the public that they are scared of. If they weren't scared why would they bother with this weapons ban.
They are not scared, they believe that they are protecting us citizens.
No, it doesn’t make sense.

Anti-gov speech has been equated to anti-society speech.

All problems are expected to have a .Gov solution. If you are against the Gubmint, you are against All Society. Only the Gubmint can prevent Gun Violence, Save the Planet, Feed the Hongry and make the Rich pay their Fair Share. Only they can Do It For The Children.

For you guys that keep posting fbombs in open forum. We shouldn’t have to edit two or three of the same persons posts in a row. This is how you get timeouts. Stop it
