Howdy,

So i'm currently on the hunt for a stock that unfortunately so far appears to be a ghost. I have a Charger takedown that I plan on SBR'ing on a form 1 and I'm trying to identify the right chassis before the paperwork comes back. Requirements (loose barring suggestions):

Charger takedown
replaceable ar-15 style grip
collapsible folding stock (ar-15 buffer tube style) but part of the chassis as opposed to picatinny mount)

So a note on the last one. I know the charger has a picatinny mount. Maybe there is an option out there that I'm missing but what I hate about most of the ones I've read about or encountered is the weird folding action. Its usually like a two hand deal where you have to push down on the rear of the receiver and lift of on the stock to move the vertical pin to get it to rotate (hope that makes sense) Drives me nuts and part of the reason I got rid of my AK-V

So far the closest options I've found are:

A: the AGP arms https://agparms.com/agp-arms-modular-folding-brace-kit-designed-for-22-charger-takedown/ which has a slick folding mechanism and brace that could be replaced with any stock but the grip is molded into the chassis so its not interchangable and from what I've heard its weirdly thin

B: SB-22 -- Interchangable grip but the stock is picatinny attachment

I guess if anyone knows of picatinny folding stock adapters that don't have the weird folding action I described above and feature an ar-15 style collapsible tube that might solve the problem but so far I haven't found one. Completely open to any and all suggestions.

Cheers,
Adam

So a push button folding stock that has an AR buffer tube for stock.

BTFA buffer from SB braces.
Buffer tube to pic rail then add your stock. Also have a button.
Stock adapter

You would need to find a screw in part. But that might be easier then trying to find your stock with your requirements.

Thanks I hadn't seen that one. My fear is that since what i want isn't available; in a quest to get what I want I'm going to make it overly complicated. For example:

Thordsencustoms adapter (https://www.thordsencustoms.com/picatinny-buffer-tube-adapter/.html) -> castle nut -> BTFA buffer from SB -> castle nut -> buffer tube -> stock

Alot to consider but thanks
