Ruger GP100

    I enjoy shooting my 6 inch GP100 as well as several SP101 revolvers but really like my S&W 66-2 and several J-frames much better. We got my mother a Speed Six years ago since she had a hard time shooting my father's Luger. That was a very nice revolver. My nephew has it now.

    9441BDE1-46F7-4F77-ACA5-DEB5F7ED7495.jpeg My stainless 6” GP100 is my favorite revolver. Wolf springs and a little polishing turned it into a smooth shooting gun. Yes, it’s kind of large, but it fits my hands just right.

    Yes comparable to L frame.......... balance in relation to barrel length is a personal preference....

    After getting my 4" security six, if the gp100 is anything like it, itll be an excellent revolver. Made to take constant 357 loads, which took a toll on the lighter security six models. Same designer worked with the six series, gp100, sp101, and redhawk.

    This 3” GP100 Wiley Clapp is most enjoyable to shoot. I usually take it when I go fishing or hunting. I’d really like to get my hands on a SP101 in 327 fed mag too.
