Ruger in 2018... let's bankrupt everyone.

How many people use calibers like that? Can the numbers support mass production?

Serious question!

I'm under the impression that it's very few relative to those of us that use readily available, widely used calibers like .223, etc.
 
With the cheap Wolf ammo available, 6.5 grendel is pretty popular. Still a tiny fraction of 223, but everything is, except 308 is probably just small fraction :)
It would be interesting to see what the rate of sales of rifles and of ammo were for rounds for it and 243, 270, 300 BLK, etc...

The biggest thing is the positive feedback loop that Ruger will establish. Invest in the R&D to build the gun, people buy it, it picks up popularity, more ammo is produced and prices per round go down, and now Ruger is the market choice for the caliber and then, the standard. 300 blackout is the case study. 300 whisper, to BO, now it's a top choice. All in 10 years.

There was this one time that a friend of mine, a young immature girl I know, asked me to have our church take up a collection for her boyfriend in Florida who had lost everything in a fire. I decided I would just help since our church was already stretched in it’s giving that month. I went to Walmart and bought him a gift card that would be plenty to get him the essentials.

The next day or so she posted on Facebook about her new hairstyle she went and had professionally done.

I won’t be donating to her needs any longer.

Regarding the PC Carbine..... I saw them at grabagun.com the other day for 475.xx with free shipping. I should have pulled the trigger right then and there because an hour later they were gone.

Look I just thought it was funny that you texted me the Ruger mag deal at Midway that I'd told you about like a week earlier LOL
 
These look so nice, Im really considering picking one up.
 
The marketing team at Ruger is genius! PC rifle not really PC after all!

They really are bringing out some awesome stuff. I really wish they would release a 6" version of the 22/45 lite though. Love that extra sight radius.
