So I ordered the TandemKross hammer bushing installed it first ally got the gun back together and now when I pull the trigger it won't fire the first pull but when releasing the trigger it feels like it resets and will fire on second pull after the 2ND trigger pull the slide is hard to pullback.

Any help is appreciated thanks

I would check and make sure the hammer strut is in the cup in the mainspring housing.
Where you at in NC?

If everything went back together easily I would double check that the mainspring is installed correctly. That's the easiest thing to mess up when reinstalling.

Reidsville About 20min from Greensboro when the mainspring went back in it had tension like normal but it was rather a pain to get it back toget her I tilted it to make sure the hammer strut was free and lined up. I'm new to these pistols watched the video looked simple enough but I'm guessing something moved on me somewhere

Can you open the mainspring latch?

I had similar problem with my Hunter, TK exchanged the bushing with one slightly narrowed.

The bushing binds on some stainless models but not on the models with the synthetic frame.

Yes the latch will open its just harder than normal to rack the slide after the 2ND trigger pull. I called TandemKross he gave me the obvious take it apart and put it back together which I have several times same results.

With the upper off, does the hammer move freely? Sounds to me like it is binding because the bushing is too wide. It could also be that the bushing is causing the hammer to be off center slightly, which could cause problems with the strut binding in the mainspring housing.

Heard a couple instances where TK bushings didn't fit properly.

If I was closer I would take a look for you. Just get a second pair of eyes on it.
