Looking at these two rifles in 6 mm Creedmoor. Will use to shoot out to a thousand yards at steel plates and possibly hunting at some point. I have had a few Ruger predators and all shot great I'm just wondering if there is a $370 difference between the two rifles.

The Precision looks a lot cooler but I could buy a $30 Kydex cheek riser for the predator and basically be able to do the same thing

I’ve got a predator and love it. But to me those rifles fill two different niches. I hunt with my predator and I doubt I’d carry the precision in the woods.

it all comes down to weight and intended use. a 12lb .5 MOA rifle doesn't go me any good if I don't feel like lugging it to the top of the mountain in Idaho.

Are you buying 6mm Creedmoor or 6.5mm Creedmoor?

6mm.

Broke down and just got the RPR. Everyone i asked said to do it over the predator. Personally, the RPR looks a lot better but IMO, doesnt offer anything beneficial over the predator at the price differences. But at the price of the RPR, i couldnt pass up it up

How soon will you be selling it? :D

Make sure you load for it. Seems the 6mm ammo is much harder to find than the 6.5mm
6mm.
