Had a thread about this in appraisal section a couple weeks ago. Got this from a co-worker. In great shape but gummed up a bit. Having never taken a revolver apart I’ve not done anything but take the grips off so far. Gonna eventually sweet talk @Jeppo into at least giving it a once over w me soon.

Here’s a few pics. Will add more as it gets taken down for cleaning.

Inside the grips look great. It’s inside the actual frame I’m looking forward to seeing. Everything is stiff.

I took my first one apart a month or two back, there really isn’t anything scary in there. I’m more worried about the sear cage on a Cz75.

If it’s a decocker, make sure you get or make a slave pin, safety is a cake walk, omega is even easier, you got this man!

undue screw, tap on grip frame in bottom corner with plastic hammer and side plate usually lifts right up. shouldnt take much pressure at all. thats a beautiful gun....now i miss mine

It's not hard at all, just go slow. You'll love the 66, best action Smith ever produced.

Beautiful wheelgun. Rebound spring is only one that can get away. Enjoy your new puzzle.
