S&W's "Totally Not A Glock" SD9 2.0

I’m gonna pass. At a MSRP of $349, I think a Taurus G2 or G3 series is a better value. IMHO the sigma was a better impact weapon than handgun.

The one i shot had the worst trigger I've ever felt up to that point. It did fire every round though with no hiccups. Smooth out the internals and keep it around $300 and i think it would suit the average persons needs for a nightstand gun.

The SD9 is a solid pistol, but the weak link is the magazine. The springs crap out, followers and baseplates are made of cheap plastic and they are expensive for what they are ($30-40). Once the mag spring gets weak, reliability is compromised. There are just too many quality pistol options out there to justify the SD9’s crap magazine situation.

And this 2.0 model comes with only 1 magazine, so add that to the ”value”.

If it took M&P mags, maybe, but at this price range I'll stick to my Daggers or even CZ P10's at their current blowout pricing.

The pot metal ones weren't even that.
