Last year, a member on here was kind enough to give me a recent doe when I was whining about having no venison in the freezer.
It's time to return the favor! Last season I bought a LOT of fresh off the boat fish of various species, through a ( legit) Alaskan shares program.
I over estimated , and there's no way we'll eat what's left in the next 6 months or so.
It's as fresh as what you get in the Grocery store ( which 90% of the time is from the prior season ) , and is both vacuum packed and deep frozen.
I've got a box of about 8 pounds of various frozen fresh fish filets free to whomever would like it and would eat it. There's a few large sockeye salmon filets, some Coho ( which I don't care for- too fishy) ; a few lincod ( black cod-YUM!) and some Sablefish... IMO the best tasting Alaskan whitefish there is and generally not available in stores. Most of this was processed and frozen at sea, and others were frozen on shore - all caught by "small boat" independent fisherman and processed in small facilities. ( Due to regs, the catching vessel date and location is on it.. which is also cool.). I'd really love to give a box to a fellow member of the "zipper club" who isn't eating enough fish..
Just PM me! Pickup in Huntersville.. only 1 box available.. the rest is spoken for.
