Whatever happened to SAMCO Global Arms, out of Fla? I used to buy surplus .303 there (1942 & 1965 date stamped). One day their site went inactive and I’ve always wondered. Any ideas?

I remember buying large amounts of mixed 303 back in the day from them... I still have a few 50 cal cans full, some loaded with cordite, some post wwII, some pre wwII. The Pakistani ordnance factory ammo was my first personal acquaintance with a "hangfire".

Not a slam on their quality, I knew what I was getting.

Wow, such a quick and full response. Appreciated the news link. So sad to see a family squabble disrupt a wonderful business. The photos in that article are amazing! Thanks to all.
 
G.O.N.E. bought a lot of "stuff from them back in the day also.

Shotgun News was My Sears & Roebuck "Wish Book" Speaking of
Sears, the one here in Frederick (downtown) decades ago had "barrels"
with Mil Surplus firearms
