Me and my gf are going out of town tomorrow when she gets off work to see family for Christmas and she surprised me with my Christmas present a little early.

Guess I’m going to shoot/collect data tomorrow on some 9mm, 10mm, and 300 black out loads.

I’ll be studying on YouTube tonight but just curious if anyone could help me out with a crash course on this thing. I’m guessing it doesn’t work in the dark but I may go try and see.

It does work in the dark, or any kind of lighting.

The first tip I can think of is the velocity range. It has “pistol” and “rifle” setting. For anything under about 1700 fps, select “pistol”, regardless of which type of gun.

The front panel user interface is non-intuitive, at least to me. I use my iPhone to link to it via Bluetooth, the app is much easier to use.

Will look at the app in a few minutes it’s got to be better than the screen and 8 buttons on the unit. Thanks

EVERYTHING he said.

And, you gotta 'aim' it to get good results. Get the line of sight on the Labradar lined up as close as possible to the direction of fire.

Make sure and use the app like mentioned earlier it’s super easy. I love mine.

LUCKY! I've got this on my list, but I don't think Mrs. Claus paid any attention. Have fun with that.

I think Santa might be bringing some Inline Fabrication mounts to my house though.

Tripod and table extension mount are helpful. Many tables are too short to get the unit at the muzzle.

Not knowing what a labradar is, I thought you misspelled Labrador and was expecting puppy pictures. I guess this is ok too ;)
