I downloaded an app called "GetUpside" back in September that gives you money back on every gallon of gas you purchase. I believe it can be as much as 25 cents a gallon but usually is under that. I have only seen it work at BP and shell gas stations and what I have done to save even more is joined the reward programs at both places. This way my savings is greater. Since joining I have earned over 33.00 dollars which I can transfer to Paypal or get a gift card at anytime. I do drive a lot for my job so you might not make as much.
It is easy to use, just open app and search for stations near your location. You claim what station you will be getting gas at and then you have 4 hours to purchase gas. You take a picture of the receipt and you are done. within 24 hours you see the money you have earned.

Can I use that code, even though Im still using the app?

Its an alright app, the saving's def. fall off after the first use, but hey, getting money back, is getting money back. So I use it. I drive 100 miles a day for work and only have like $6.50 back. Most places are 4-5 cents back. Ive caught some 10 cent places though.

I doubt it but you could try. A good trick I have learned is when a place says 8 cents re-search a couple times and the prices change. I did this yesterday morning for the same station and it was between 10-18 cents. I claimed when it was 18. Got $1.84 back.

Thank you. Anyway we can save a little money helps. Every dime I make on app is more money I will use on Gun stuff ;)

Ive been trying to hit the shell's. I use my fuel rewards card too and get back 3-5 cents a gal. ontop of the app
 
Is this app grabbing all your contacts including phone and email addresses?
 
Just gas or does it work for diesel?
 
I thought about using this and stacking the fuel rewards discount at shell but it’s a few steps (search, activate, take pic, upload) vs just putting in a number. Idk, I may still download it.
 
My wife signed up for something with BP and now our credit card is tagged to get $0.50 per gallon. It is a promo that runs through someday in Dec. It's advertised on the pumps.
 
I don’t know if it is the same deal at all supermarkets, my wife gets $50 gas cards for $40 at Publix
This app will be even a bigger discount if I can use the gas card or is the discount only good if I use a credit card?

Well, she says it is tied to points on the CC, so it shouldn't run out in December.
 
Harris Teeter has similar gas discount, each month they expire unless you use them. Good at BP with your VIC card account.

I've used it a few times since it started. The only thing I don't like is any points under 100 expiring at the end of each month.
 
Just wanted to Thank those who used my code to download the app. I saw one of them used it the other day and hopefully they found it easy to use and saved them some money. I noticed that you get better pricing if you use it early in morning or late at night.

I've the blessing of a company car. I use the BP rewards card and use them for my wife's ride. She got $0.96 off per gallon yesterday.
I'm not interested in an APP (don't trust what data they're gathering from my phone and selling)
