sbr a lower that is not in my name?

i purchased a rifle from a fellow i met ftf on the rifle. i want to sbr the lower. would this be a problem since all we did was a BOS?

Since there is no firearm registry, there is no such thing as a rifle "in your name".

That being said...once you do the SBR paperwork...it IS now registered "in your name".
