Zev, Ghost, Lone Wolf, Overwatch Precision, Apex...so many choices. So, the question becomes "Which is the 'best'...and why."

As some of you know, I just gifted my wife a G26 for her bday/Mothers Day. She really likes the way it shoots, fits her hand (esp with the pierce +3 mag ext lol), and is planning on making it her edc.
The only thing she doesnt like is the trigger pull on it...and we are all familiar with why lol.
The ultimate goal for the trigger is to:
1. Lighten it up a bit. Target weight would be ~4 pounds.
2. Smooth it up.
3. Shorten some of the travel on it, if possible.

What is the best combination of parts from which manufacturers to achieve a decent edc trigger?
I could read reviews about this on the interwebz...I guess Im kinda going to do that anyway...but I don't know those buttheads lmao. I kinda trust most of the guys here.
I probably shouldn't, but I do :)

I normally replace the connector with the Glock 5# connector and it works very well. It is the connector used in the G34, 35, 41. Recently, I added a Suarez flat faced trigger to my wife's 43 and she loves it. The factory trigger was a bit too harsh with the grooves for her finger and the flat faced one resolved that and provided a good feel. Her groupings have improved with it.

Try the Glocktriggers.com, G43 Trigger. They do a good job on shortening take up and smoothing things out. Not sure on pull weight though. These are not cheap replacements, but are on par with Apex and Zev.

I haven't used any whole assemblies. Zev and Ghost 3.3 pro connectors are decent with a "competition" trigger spring. Zev is similar to factory feel but lighter, Ghost pro is a "rolling" break, and you can reduce overtravel.

Ghost Edge connector
Extra power trigger spring
Reduced power plunger spring
Overwatch Precision Falx trigger

That, with a 25 cent polish job will get you to a clean 4 1/2 lb pull.

Having owned a PPQ and shot a VP9 I would say the P10C is probably closer.

Which is better? Hard to say. The PPQ had a better break and reset but also had a lot more pre-travel.

That was my experience as well. The Missus and I were both carrying PPQ's at the time I bought the VP9, and it didnt really do anything better than the Walthers in our hands, ymmv, so I ended up selling it.
Havent fired a P10 yet...would love to just to see what its like. Ive held them in shops but nothing about it wow'd me.

Toss in a connector, a trigger spring, polish it and shoot the hell out of it. It will smooth out over time.
