I bought a bushnell banner scope, 3x9x40 from amazon. I bought a one piece mount that was some what elevated. Took it out and shot and was literally 2-3 feet high on every shot. I maxed the scope elevation out. The scope can not be turned any lower. I returned the rings and bought more standard style lower rings. Mount them and this time I'm closer. Still about 8-10" way too high maybe higher. Again the scope is maxed out on elevation and cannot be adjusted lower. Am I doing something wrong or should I just send the scope back?
