SEAL Team

I've enjoyed it so far. Probably pick up season 3 toward the end (we record it). I've been pleasantly surprised by the realism, for the characters and for the operations - they'll never make it 100% accurate (and I don't expect that) but it's much better than I'm used to seeing from Hollywood.

Update.
I dig this show. Mostly because the character ‘Sonny’ portrayed hilariously by AJ Buckley.
Anyway, this show was renewed for season five and moved to Paramount Plus. I subscribed to Paramount Plus for the intro subscription. I am watching this show, and they have changed it. They are adding a lot more swears, and graphic displays including a realistic resuscitation scene of an overdosing transient veteran and the application of NarCan to assist in the resuscitation. Not that I am for or against it. Honestly it seemed like that exact character should have said or done exactly that, but if you had kids that watched it, or were with say your in laws or something. Catches you off guard. Still a very good show, just everything is tuned up a notch for cable, so more violence, sex, and language. Dun dun dun…

I watched up to the last couple before it went to streaming. When it got away from missions and operations and started on the characters background, it lost me. It also got more PC in the last season.

Paramount Plus has free access for a month, or 2 months if you register your Roku to watch Seal Team. We got this so we can enjoy no ads or commercials. We are also watching 1883 (spinoff of Yellowstone) on Paramount +. Has one of my favorite actor's on it - Sam Elliott.

It got way into poor Jason and his problems, I was glad when it moved to paid streaming. It was filmed mainly in the foothills behind where I lived in SoCal so I recognized a lot of the battle locations. There is a movie ranch there that has a complete mideast type village that they used. It kinda destoyed the mood when I would see the boys driving along the fire roads I used to take my dogs on.

So, they had to go all Chris Kyle on Clay.
Knew that was coming as soon as he was connected with an unhinged vet.
SPOILER ALERT IF YOU AREN'T CAUGHT UP. Skip if you want to watch.

Not exactly Chris Kyle; the security guard did it not the unhinged vet. That said, I got pissed and left the room... You know, cops are trigger-happy thugs implication. My wife pointed out it was a security guard not a cop; not sure that isn't a distinction without a difference in that context.

Next episode was good-ish. Still must-see tv here.

I'm guessing they wrote him off the show since he is now the main character in the TV series called "Fire Country".

Fire Country is the show Clay is on now and has been pretty good though the first few episodes.

But if you get rid of Clay that means no more Alona Tal, and she is so hot, and former IDF which means she has more actual tactical experience than the entire cast combined.

Actually, the actor who plays Trent was a ranger.... iirc 13 years

Yeah, that’s true…. I forgot.
I went down a rabbit hole in that, some sources said he was Delta/CAG…
Also, Full Metal apparently was a Seal

However Alona Tal is way hotter than any of the cast except maybe Mandy or when Jason was dating The Darkness
