Seeking cowboy action 12 Guage load

Hey cowboy shooters. I need a good load for reloading 12 Guage. I have 2 boxes of AA low recoil left and I figured it's time to buy a press so I bought a lee load all and and now need some loads. Haven't reloaded a shotgun shell in over 17 years so this should be fun

The prohibition against posting load data on the SASS Wire was lifted and there is at least one thread there with 12 gauge load data.

I use a MEC so my telling you which bushing to use would be pretty useless if you have a Lee Machine.

My smokeless 12 gauge recipe is 7/8 ounces of reclaimed or homemade #8 shot, a Claybusters Lightning wad, and Red Dot powder out of a MEC #25 bushing.

I've shot one match, I didn't even know there used to be a restriction on sharing data That seems rather weird.

I recommend for your next purchase, the latest edition Lyman Shotshell Manual. It is very useful if you plan to reload shotshells. I load light 1 1/8 ounce 12 gauge shotshells for my cowboy matches because I also use those shells for dove hunting, and small game so they are dual purpose.
