Seller of ammo to LV Mass shooter pleads guilty.

Having an FFL would not have helped him much, I expect that he pled guilty in a deal to avoid other charges.

Except the only charges they could get him with were FFL related. The shooter didn't use the tracers he bought from him. Not that it's right, but they are making an example out of him for show. If they caught him at the gunshow it would have been a lot of threats and cease and desist instead of all this. The guilty plea was probably for a much lighter sentence. I doubt he gets much time.

"Haig pleaded guilty to a single count of engaging in the business of manufacturing ammunition without a license, a federal firearms felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine."

I thought that he was manufacturing and selling some ammunition that is generally not allowed to be sold to the public, FFL or not. I could easily be remembering this wrong. Agree that he normally would have been punished by receipt oof letters.

They need to cut the guy some slack...

It's not like he knowingly and willingly provided weapons to foreign drug cartels.

Yeah but .gov hates competition.
