My Fiancé got me Kindle Fire. Anyone here set theirs up for storing books/ info for a SHTF event? If so what's on yours and any websites for the info?

See if you can get the first 5 Foxfire books and Horace Kephart's "Camping and Woodcraft".
Those 6 will give you a solid "how to" if it all goes up/down.
I would also get hard copies of the same (I have all 6) for when the Kindle can no longer be charged up.

I saw the Horace Kephart book this evening. Will also get the Fox Fire books (forgot about them). Thanks

Agree with basil. Hard copies are mandatory. Maybe load up the Kindle as quickly as you can, and then work to get corresponding hard copies,

Got one on making weapons. Mostly I get survival type books in paper form.....you might not always have a working outlet to power the kindle. But I love my kindle and hope I'll always be able to power it!
