I don't know what brand makes the the better rifles and would like some advice. I was thinking pedersoli then I saw one on Dixie gun works but don't know who makes it. Chiappa also makes some. These rifles are a lot of money and don't want to make the wrong decision.

What's your budget?

Pedersoli’s are the top of the line in Italian made Sharps but are not close to the American made Shiloh brand. If you order a Shiloh there is a waiting list up to several years but occasionally they post a few for sale on the web site as a inventory sale. That’s how I bought mine. I have a Pedersoli sold under the Dixie brand in 40-65 that I will part with, if interested PM me for details.

I had a Shiloh Sharps carbine, it was a tack driver. Kinda sorry I sold. Look on the N-SSA web site for used ones for sale.

I have two percussion Sharps I shoot in N-SSA competition. What are you looking for? They come in a wide variety of calibers and both percussion and centerfire.
