Pretty cool idea. But it was shot down by BATFE.

Seems to me someone can come up with a design that will provide more grip so that you can set a pistol on the Blade so that the hard plastic of the Blade doesn't slip and send the pistol falling, and do it in a way that gets ATF approval.

Sure - that's a non-slip floor pad. And this is hanging loop so I can store my gun on a coat rack:

Would adding a cheek rest to a Shockwave blade violate the SBR rule?

That's what I thought, thanks.

It does suck that it's illegal to shoulder. Such an ignorant law. Oh well, buy the pad if you have a blade. Use it to comfortably protect your shoulder... I mean your buffer tube so you don't get any debris inside of it since it has the hole in the end of it...
Stupid auto correct

It's now painted black, but I also got a 5/16x1.5" bolt, threadlocked a nut to it to make a bigger grip surface and use that to adjust the blade. I hope that isn't deemed illegal as well.

A company makes a similar bolt but it's $25!! This cost me $0.31 at home Depot.

You must have missed the latest ATF letter...
