What phone apps do you use to log shooting? Ive tried a few and cant find one i really like. Something that has a place to record my shot placement or pics of shots, location, weather, load data or ammo usage, etc. Ballistic tools would be a great addition as well. Ive found some that are decent one way or another...but nothing that seems to cover it all.

Thoughts?

My phone died recently and I lost almost everything except what I had on the cloud. And where I shoot I have poor cell phone coverage. Use whatever ballistic app that you prefer and keep important information and notes in a book. I bought a rifle 3 years ago and started recording notes everytime I took it out. Weather, load data, group size, chrono data, round counts, sometimes a note on something I see or do (clean barrel, equipment failure), who I'm with, etc. I have even pasted tables and pics in there on occasion. It's really invaluable to me. When my phone died I lost all of the data I had in my ballistic app. But I had the load velocities, BC's, and sight-in data recorded in my book. It took me less than 2 minutes to load the data back into the app and start shooting where I left off. Priceless! :D

Reactions: Me.

Amen to that. No batteries or cell service needed with one of these.
