So I've got a SiCo Harvester 30 and the only thing I don't like about it is the direct thread. Sometimes it works its way loose while shooting and I'm afraid I'll have a baffle strike if I don't notice it in time. I saw today SiCo is making a nano ASR for the Harvester 30. I've never used the ASR mounting system. So are they ok or prone to certain failures? Looks like I can get a single chamber SiCo ASR brake and an ASR Nano for $160 online. Whats the braintrust thoughts on it?

They're prone to user error.

(the ASR in general, not sure about the nano)

The trifecta setup had real issues. I think the ASR are 99.44% user error.

...but Teflon tape works fairly well.

I haven't had any issues with my multiple ASR mounts for my Omega. Just do not try to twist it off with the lock on, it could round over the grabbing edges.

Thanks for the heads up I need one of the single port brakes for my 300 blk

Does the Dead Air Key Mount system not work on the Harvester?

Edit. It does https://www.capitolarmory.com/dead-air-armament-key-mo-adapter-omega-saker.html
Wrong Harvester.

There used to be a Harvester, then it changed to Harvester 30 when they added a Harvester Big Bore. They renamed them to Harvester 300 and Harvester 338. He mentioned he had the Harvester 30 (which is the smaller one). It has a smaller diameter and I believe uses the same thread pitch as the Octanes. The Harvester BB/338 is what the adapter you linked is for...which shares the same thread pattern as the Omega and Hybrid (and Vox and others).

I am guessing this is similar with the Omega line? When I purchased mine was an Omega 30. Now it looks as if they renamed to Omega 300.

Yes. They changed the name when the Omega 9K and 45K came out.

So then would a rugged 3 lug mount work? Or no because it's a true 30 Cal can?
