I don't know anything about them, but I need one to do three things:

1. fetch kilt deer from anywhere on 44 acres of hilly, wooded terrain
(needs a Reese receiver for a winch that also does duty on my truck)

2. pull a brush hog for maintaining trails and a small field

3. give Wifey tours along the trails of the 44 acres of hilly, wooded terrain

What make and model ATV?
What make and model brush hog?
What do these things cost used?

Club car makes one that's pretty tough won't go fast. Kawasaki mule has a good reputation as well. Not sure tow capacity of either.

Wait ... where did you find this mentioned 44 acres?

Well a good sxs is 12-15 k (Honda) 700-1kcc
Bushhog is 2500. (Swisher)
These are new costs, used market is all over the place.

I shopped SxS models for 2 years.
Ended up with a Honda pioneer 700-2.
Reliability was important to me.
Best price I could find was $12,000.
It will easily pull a tow type bushhog.
Dump bed is nice. I absolutely love the power steering. It's a Billy goat. Goes anywhere.

I have an older (2001) Kawasaki Mule that I bought second hand in 2005 for $5500 with 200 hours on it. It has spent it's life pulling about anything I want to pull, including a 4x6 sided trailer filled high with oak wood, and going anywhere I neede to go. I think it has something like 1700 hrs. on it now and the only thing that has been replaced is the fuel pump. The older models seemed to have bigger beds and the newer stuff looks more like a hot rod to me as opposed to a work machine. Good luck finding something that meets your needs.

I would look for a Honda foreman for those duties. Easily pull a towable bush hog, narrower than a side by side and more than capable of dragging out deer. My experience has been that side by sides aren’t as nimble in woods unless you have dedicated trails cleared for the extra width and larger turning radius. I can get my foreman anywhere a deer can go on my land but can’t get a side by side to my stand easily.

Well, wifey says she really doesn't have any interest in being given tours through the woods on an ATV... so tossing out requirement #3 is a good call on your part. We have dedicated trails, but the deer might not die on a trail.

The Foreman is a lot less expensive than a SxS.

I pull a 48" Swisher trail mower with a Yamaha Big Bear 400 or a John Deere riding mower. The Big Bear has a super low 1st gear, which is what you want in whatever you get.

I have one I’d sell you. Gas powered utv with dump bed and 4wd. Has the ability to pull a brush hog and even comes with a box blade attachment. I’ll give you a great deal on it. I switched to a golf cart because the main use for me is dragging pastures and the UTV is to beefy for that

I have a Kawasaki Mule PRO/FXT, and it is the shiznit. Will haul 6 people, or back seat folds up and the bed, which dumps, will hold 40x48 pallet. Bullet proof. If you want to haul more than 2 or 3 people, ie. a "4 door", be wary of ultra long wheel bases that need 3 acres to turn around.

I thought this was sold, if not it's a heck of a deal if you don't need to haul many people.
