Sig M11-A1

I am looking at buying/trading for an Sig M11-A1 but I wanted to get some thoughts on the gun. I had a P229 40 cal one time which was very similar but just wondering if anyone had some experience with one.

I believe it will fit any comparable P228 holsters. Not as easy to find as a Glock holster, but they are still fairly common.

If you've had the 229 before, you'll get it again in the M11-A1.

Best part about it is, it has no rail. No rail makes it look like the old P228.

so I ended up getting it yesterday. I am really happy with it. Ergonomics are great and i really like the trigger. I’m hoping I can shoot it this weekend. You are right it is a P229 again.

Honestly just about anything. I’d like to get both an OWB and IWB at some point

They are fantastic pistols, too bad they're so expensive. I wish they'd make a true P228 again. I used Don Hume holsters for mine because I'm a leather guy, but there are hundreds of Kydex options also.

Really like the M11a1. However, I always found myself a bigger fan of the p226. Larger grip and rail are big factors for me. If the absents of a rail and slightly smaller grip is no issue then go ahead and pick up the M11.
