Sig P320 Compact RX

Been looking at them. Love my 320 9mm. The only drawback I see is the battery life is shit on the Romeo 1 according to everything I've read on it. Like most are only lasting 2 weeks. So I'm thinking of just getting my slide killed for a rmr.

Walked into the LGS/shooting range that's a Sig dealer, and asked if they had one in their rental/demo pool.
The salesman had never heard of it.
I'm still hoping to give one a test drive...

If you're going to play in the optics game, it's hard to find a better deal.

Anyone know who makes the Romeo optic for Sig? Kinda looks like a Vortex.

Oh, and I've had a hankerin for a pistol pistol with a red dot on it for awhile and came across a deal I couldn't pass up the other day.

Two weeks is super short. I assume that's using the auto on/off. That should make it last a lot longer, if somewhat less convenient. Maybe milling the slide of a non-optic P320 is the way to go.

Yeah that was with the auto on feature on. Still very short considering how long the rmr will run on one battery. I have a P320 C 9mm and am seriously interested in getting it milled for an rmr just gotta get the nerve and $$$ together.

That could make a lot of sense if you already own the P320. My only Sig is my P938. If I need to buy a P329C, the RMR and have the machining done I'm well above the $879 or so a new RX would cost. On the other hand, I do very much appreciate Trijicon products.

FWIW mine is still on the same battery it was sold with last summer. I should probably change it just on principle.

And I didn't pay anywhere close to $879... Actual price after tax was in the low $700s

have had my rx for about 2 months now with auto on/off...battery still fine....about 250 rds through it with no problems...did have to adjust the romeo slightly out of box to zero......the red dot goes off after 2 minutes 4 secs after no motion consistently
