Well it looks like I will be without my trusty Sig P320c for a few weeks while Doug Presson at DP Custom Works is milling the slide for the RMR 06 I bought, Cerakoting it magpul FDE and installing the Galloway Precision suppressor height sights. I shipped it Monday and it arrived yesterday I can be a very impatient person some times so I'm sure this wait is going to drive me crazy especially since I'm waiting on my Silencerco Harvester thats been in jail since December and theres no end in sight for that lol . Anyways when I get back I will update this thread with pics and a review of the work and the sight itself.

Got an email from Doug tonight. It's on the way back. Of course I'm out of town Saturday through Thursday. So it'll be next week before I can shoot it. Here's a pic he sent.

Looks great man. I'm hoping my RMR is in the mail when I get home so I can get it an my slide sent out before I head to Cancun on Monday.

Thanks man! I can't wait to shoot it. We're going to see the Noah's ark in Ky so it'll be next week. Who's doing your slide work @Unknownpro ?

You get it upgraded with an fancy G and a new barrel to be able to shoot 40? Awesome!!! lol just kidding.

All jokes aside I am not a Sig fan, actually I like M&Ps. But that trigger on the 320 is SWEET!!!

No, I would have went with him but I want it cerekoted too and I'd rather just send in in for a one stop shop. I am having it done by Primary Machine.

That is bada$$
Very nice! I'm literally sitting at my front window right now, impatiently waiting for the mail. My 19 that I sent off to be milled is "out for delivery". I also have my dremel on standby to modify my FDE TR holster once it gets here. Looks like we are having a very similar day.

Yeah I dremeled mine down a little at a time to accommodate the rmr. It fits fine now and retention nor the coverage of the trigger changed at all.

When they mill it for the RMR, what is the standard operating procedure for the RMR mounting screws? Do they just thread holes into it?

Yup, pretty much. If you get it milled right, all the screws should be doing is keeping the optic from being physically pulled up off the slide. The milling should be tight enough to actually hold the optic in place.

roger that. I want to get my G19 done eventually.

Is the Trijicon that much better than the Sig Romeo1?

Simply put yes. Mrgunsngear has a great video on these type sights. The leupold delta point is lost as good as the rmr then every other is a distant 3 rd. The Romeo has TERRIBLE battery life. The rmr is good for several years and the Romeo is more like 7-12 weeks battery life.

Like Derek said they pretty much mill it perfectly for the sight. Some mill post in it too for the threads this adds strength too.
