Just seems too easy. So is that the case?
I’ve never seen or used the SS version, so all these comments are just general thoughts about how it works.
-There’s no proactive notification to the ATF if the list of RPs change.
-The only thing that matters is who is an RP when the Submit button is pushed, or you put the envelope in the mail.
-You can have 20 RPs, remove 19, submit/mail, add 19 back. All you provide to the ATF is the current copy of the trust. Make sure to not get caught in a paper trail lie…as in if the trust lists Bobby and Suzie as trustees, and you removed them, you need to include the Amendment that removes them when you submit.
The only extra step that happens when adding trustees is that if the added person is not listed on the Form 4 as an RP, they have to go through a NICS check (or provide a permit) if they’re the one that goes to the FFL to pick up the NFA firearm.
They don’t qualify for #28, but might for #29.
