Sixshooters will have a gun show at the Rowan County Fairgrounds this weekend. Saturday 9-5. Sunday 10-4.

We will be there giving a squirt of hand sanitizer for every gun purchased at our table. lol

Who else is going?

The Six Shooters shows really disappoint me. It’s very difficult to find candles, tasers and jerky. :(

If anybody goes Saturday, and sees Beowulf ammo (12.7x42mm), let me know.

If for any reason you see a rear MBUS in foliage green, just buy it and I’ll reimburse you. The color has been discontinued for several years, so odds are nobody has one...but it’s the one piece missing for my current build. Otherwise I’ll have to go foliage front and black rear.

Smaller.
But cheaper to get in and 99% of the tables are gun related. Unlike others where there's candles and pet hair brushes and salsa etc

Ive only been to one, but I really liked it

They typically run around 100 tables. Mostly gun and ammo dealers. They'll have a couple holster dealers, a tactical gear dealer or two. A couple private guys. One of the holster dealers sells flavored peanuts that people seem to like. Percentagewise, they are largely gun and gun related with very little flea market junk.

This weekend, there will be a private guy who has a lot of older USGI stuff - M14 parts, GI ammo (.30-06, 7.62 NATO, etc), bayonets, pouches, all kinds of stuff he scrounges up. If you've been to the Hickory show, you've seen him. When I was heavily into M14s, I bought a lot of parts from him that I still have. He finds good stuff. Isn't cheap, but it is hard to find it in the condition he has.
 
109 tables. He wasn’t made to cut back on this one like he was in Albemarle. If you come, drop by and say hello.

And I’m assuming the standard no concealed carry (loaded pistol) allowed?
 
Im going to come Sunday and
see if I can find a steal on a double barrel.
 
Yep. No loaded guns inside the building. Plenty of free parking. $5 to get in.

Didn’t find a rear MBUS or any Beowulf ammo, which were the two things I was looking for.

I’m sorry I didn’t get to talk to you again. The guy that was at my table is notoriously long winded. Nice guy, but he is totally unaware of anything going on other than what he wants to say.
 
Hate I missed it. Wife and daughter and rest of family are getting too used to having me around without matches and gunshows to attend on the weekend. Hope to remedy that Saturday. LOL.
