Great weather, got a tad overcooked. We did pretty good in carbines holding second place until the last event when it went seriously pear shaped and we ended up dead last. Today we did much, much better in rifled muskets and placed 2nd. Hardest target event was an array of 10 powder filled easter eggs hanging on wires at 50yds. Try hitting that with a 19th century musket with iron sights, offhand. Our team and a couple others did pretty good, we cleaned 10 for 10 eggs. Gotta tell ya, we were aiming slow and small for that one. Had a great day over at Allison Woods.
