Sling for Ruger AR

I recently got one of those Ruger AR 15's with the free floating barrel and the long metal forend and am wondering how best to put a sling on it. The stock has a slit for a sling and a socket for one of those push button swivels, but the forend seems not to have any provision for sling attachment. Any suggestions are welcome.

Can you take any pictures of the forend, there are several ways to attach a sling, but knowing if your forend has keymod or m-lock or rail attachments would help narrow down the suggestions.

If so, the fore end is "MLOK" compatible. So, search for "MLOK" quick release (QD) sling mount or sling stud.
