I have four A2/A4 type rifle length ARs, the one that's a "stand-in" is the Sig M400A2 I built as an A2 about a decade ago.
The original conversion was simple. New upper (Model 1 Sales, A2 upper, Gubment profile A2 1/7 chrome lined A2 barrel), and an A2 pistol grip.
Rifle has been in this configuration since roughly 2011 with a few additions.
Lately, I've been feeling the need to go a little on the retro side.
Tonight the A2 grip got replaced with an A1, and I'm taking into serious consideration the replacement of the A2 stock with either an A1, in the Canadian style an M4 stock set up.........
Gotta do some looking around before I decide. But it looks like a fun reconfiguration none the less.......
