Smith and Wesson Model 28-2 P&R

Smith and Wesson Model 28-2 P&R delivered to my front door today. Got a pretty good deal on this gun. This gun will also be my sons, to go with the Model 28 I bought on the day he was born in 2012, the thread for that one isn't too far back in the revolvers section either. He will now have the 4 inch and 6 inch versions.

Had a buddy many years ago that launched 110s outta one of those 6 inchers that Cracked like a rifle when they went off.

I'd be embarrassed to admit the crap I have put through a 4" Mod 28 back in my younger/dumber days. Used a Lee Whack-A-Mole setup that belonged to a neighbor and truth be known he wasn't wrapped as tightly as I thought either.
I still have the 6" Mod 28 I was issued when I qualified for the "Governor's 20" pistol team in 73. P&R, TT, TH, WO, RR.... nice gun...
And I still have the 5" Mod 27 I was issued as part of the Parade Squad as well as the patent leather rig to carry it in on occasions......
Plan on taking them to the grave with me...
