The stars and weather aligned yesterday and I decided to whip up a batch..... (began at 12:30, ate at 7:30)

Raw Materials..... 5# London Broil...... 5# Ground Sirloin.....

Browning the meat....

Lets throw a few peppers at it....

Got 'em all in....

If ya don't like beans in Chili close your eyes....

Simmer, simmer, then simmer some more....

Let's get this party started......

Mission accomplished....

This batch yielded about 13 to 14 quarts of finished product that I'll enjoy for the rest of the winter.....
PS: I didn't forget the onions, I just forgot to take a pic..... Their there, trust me, and so are the spices. The last of my dried Cayenne's...

Was the Coors for drinking or did it go in the pot? Maybe a couple of each?

Mrs. Draco fried up country ham, biscuits, and gravy this morning and after we ate, I put a big ol pot on, too. Daughter isnt happy about all the dishes, either lol
Startin to smell good, too :)

No beer in the chili, I personally don't care for the after taste it leaves. There were a couple/three used to lubricate the cook though.

I love it when the house smells of cooking. Reminds me of home with my Grandparents, good memories. As for the dishes, tell her to suck it up....if she wants chili later.. I always clean as I go to avoid the huge mess that would be there after..... just me....
