So tell me about this air frying stuff

Our oven died so was forced to buy a new one. I have heard nothing but praise for air fryers so we found this. Did not want another appliance on the counter or crammed in a cupboard somewhere. So what do I air fry?

Well, I have never seen a wall unit but we have the contertop air fryer. Chicken, pork chops,brusslle sprouts, tater tots...anything that I deep fry except hush puppies I can air fry and it taste better and is better for me. My chicken is the best my mom says she has had.

I probably won’t use it until next week, but if I am hearing the CFF correctly I should do wings first. That’s good because I have a large closet full of wing sauces, hot sauces and rubs. I’m thinking of filling up the smoker with wings. Smoke them low and slow for a while, then finish in the air fryer oven to crisp them up. Any other thoughts or tips? I’ve got 7 lbs of wings in the freezer. I am thinking of buying somewhere around 20 more lbs and inviting some friends over for a feast. I want to see how many wings I can fit on the Yoder. :p
 
I've got 2 (one fry daddy style with the basket and one of the oven styles with 3 places for slide in trays) and if nothing else they make breakfast quick. Throw some diced potatoes on the bottom, then either bacon or sausage on the top, 400 for 12 minutes, jump in the shower, get dressed come back to the kitchen and there is perfect bacon and potatoes waiting for a couple over medium eggs to be fried up.
Wings, chicken strips, onion rings, fries, roasted corn or other veggies. Dice up and marinate some chicken or steak for little bites like the roasted chicken bites from bojangles.

There's loads of air fryer tweaked recipes for just about anything you can think of.
 
@CZfool68 , if it uses electricity, do you really want to cook on it?

The isn't what's going to kill you. The only reason cooking in oil is worse is that you car consuming carbs at the same time. The carbs are still spiking glucose and preventing you from burning any fat.
