Where would you go for a good guide? Who do you think makes the best parts for the price?

I have an AR billet lower that should work fine, but I need everything else. Not looking to do a low budget build, but let's not get carried away. ;)

I also have a spare LaRue MBT trigger kit lying around, so that may or may not work in this build.

Thinking 8.5-10.5" barrel and a suppressor down the road. Someone mentioned a 9mm can would work and you obviously can use it on 9mm! However, I don't know if you have to worry about the 9mm can being able to handle anything you may throw at it with the 300 blk.

Tagged, been thinking about the same for a spikes lower that’s just been sitting around.

Sbr 7.5 inch psa upper and ST punisher lower with cmc 4.5 lb flat single stage trigger.

Has the aac 762 can and I've yet to put any rounds through any of it. I also just added an ACOG with RMR.

While on this topic.....with a 16 inch barrel, what is needed to cycle both subs and supersonic rounds? I think this was an issue in the past.

For the hassle and $200 stamp, do a pistol vs. an SBR.
300BLK is supposed to reach max velocity within 8".

SBR- SSA-e trigger, WMD NiB BCG, adj block, Hogan billet ambi lower, McGowen barrel, Seekings rail Aimpoint T-2 w & w/o can- the brake has been replaced with a flash suppressor.

300BLK pistol- Anderson lower, CMC trigger, PSA 8.5" upper, PA dot, LAW Tactical hinge

A 8" barrel in a 15" rail looks great, you lose the short truck gun advantage.

it's basically the same as any AR, with reduced range and more ammo expense. That being said, there are so many good .300blk uppers out there not sure there's a reason to drop big money on a barrel for said reduced range. More than likely, a suppressed .300blk is a perfect application for a red dot.

When I build a .300, it'll be Ballistic Advantage barrel and a light weight red dot. KAK brace until form 1 comes back.

If you keep the brace it's technically a pistol and not an NFA item, others can touch it w/o you being present, you can cross state lines, go on gubmnt lands, etc.

Or I can just slap the upper back on a pistol lower when I want to do all of that and when I want to go full super-saiyan OPERATOR I can slap it back on my form 1 lower with a real stock...

This is my plan as well. Swap back and forth between SBR and pistol lower. I don't think I've ever shot out of state so it's not a huge deal for me.

Is there any truth to the talk about needing .30 caliber feed ramps instead of the M4 style? Or is that primarily for folks reloading and going with certain types of projectiles?

I plan on only using factory ammo for the foreseeable future.
