Social media posts are now grounds to be banned from USPSA?

I hope participants are blowing up the phones and email inboxes of the Board of Directors over this. Dude has no business being in his position if he can't handle himself with any more decorum or levelheadedness. I hope Mr. Drunk-on-his-own-power gets his butt handed to him on a plastic tray.
I have an email written, will be sending it to Bruce this afternoon.

not knowing the back story of Berry and Foley's previous interactions may give Foley some wiggle room on how he came off in the post ,but it seems inexcusable. perhaps he was Ambien posting

I flew international for just over 2 years. I've seen Ambien make people do and say some really weird things, especially if mixed with any kind of alcohol.

Once while I was taking my meal break, I witnessed a female passenger drop her drawers and take a squat outside the door of the first class lavatory to relieve herself. Fortunately for everyone, there happened to be a flight attendant standing nearby and she got to the passenger before things got...messy.

Having said all that, the whole exchange is just so much drama that USPSA simply doesn't need.

Saw a new statement from the beard, this time on USPSA's facebook page. I didn't get to read it fully, but it appeared to be apologizing for the inflammatory remarks and such. It may just be me, but I think few care about the words used. However, the threats of suspension/banning for criticism are VERY concerning.

He apologized for threatening bans too.
The incident casts him in a poor light to me. I was pretty neutral about him before.

I was going to post a screen shot of Ben's wifes reply on the USPSA Facebook post but alas.....it appears to have been deleted.

Yup, the words are meaningless to me. Its the quickness to the abuse of powers that caught my attention. Then doubling down on stupid was the closer.

When Foley has admin access to the USPSA page, it's hard to expect that anything anyone says against him will last long on there. He's already gone in and deleted his response comments, as well as those of others but my comments still remain for the moment. https://www.facebook.com/notes/us-p.../?comment_id=1937348102944031&hc_location=ufi

Interesting. I clicked on your link and took another look. Even when I click on ALL COMMENTS it does not show up for me.

Just had confirmation that only I can see my own comments now and no one else. Mr. Foley has conveniently blocked me from contributing anything publicly to the USPSA Facebook page because I wasn't singing his praises.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, actions or comments are issued by the Area Directors concerning this matter.

I have a feeling, as much as some people might want it to all go away, it is in no way finished bidness. I believe we will be hearing about this for quite some time.

I must say that was an impressive way to go "full retard" by the USPSA Pres from the opening response. :D

Well stated and I agree!

The outrageousness of it is truly outrageous and so unlike the public persona that Foley usually displays.

Wonder if he had a mini-stroke, lol?

I am so disappointed!

Can someone copy and paste? Page won’t load anything but the background on my phone

It was amusing to see that someone who administers the USPSA Facebook page posted over 20 different articles, etc in an attempt to bury the conversation. It all happened just after 10pm last night.

This probably means Mike is here to stay and it will be swept under the rug.

Wow, I've been around so long I can remember when most all the rules in IPSC would fit on a couple of pieces of yellow legal paper. I remember when Hackathorn was made head of the rules for "practical holsters'. Unfortunately, I can also remember when it started to Hell and Cooper himself said IPSC had turned to Ignorant People Squabbling Constantly.
