My daughter did a solo hike in the Gorge last week. Here are some of her photos...

She has been a Gorge Rat for a decade or so... hung her own hammock, packed her own pack, but never hiked solo 'til now. (As she said, she hiked with 50 yr olds!) She went down to Devil's Hole and wanted to cross, but she said her dog Sam was clearly not wanting to do it. So, she came back up and hiked the peaks on the Eastern Rim. She's got a lot more photos, including some of the river, but she didn't send 'em to me yet.

Her outfit is almost Entyrely Molly Mac Gear (made by me)... pack, hammock, tarp, Gear Box, underquilt. She uses a Four Dog wood stove. With food and water for two, her pack was 30 lbs, but she was hoping to do a Grand Loop and had everything she needed for three days in her pack.

She says he's a Dogo with some 'Merican bully in 'im. She rescued him... he was abandoned in our neighborhood 7 years ago, when he was in his first year.

Good lookin pup and I'm sure he is a good companion for her on the trails. Should something happen to the two we have now, a Dogo will be our next.
 
I would love to go back into the Gorge again but my old legs won't let me . Had some good times down there .
 
I really want to get out. I hear many of the parks and Nat Forests and such are closing over the virus bs... o_O

Yes... I'm not a Vendor, but since you asked... I have been making gear for hammock hangers and backpackers since 2007. I also make special Leather Slipper AIWB holsters, leather bags an' such. The most popular product by far is the Gear Box.
