On Sunday I primed 50 - 308 cases that I went to load tonight. Got everything setup and filled the powder thrower and the trickled. Then measured out each charge. Setup the dies and went to put the bullets on the first case and it fell inside of the case. What the hell just happened. Took another case and bullet and the case neck was too big. Out of 50 cases, only 16 of them had the right size opening. Tried to resize one of the cases in a FL die and there was way too much tension on the press. Decided to use a Lyman resizing die and deprime all cases. Then ran them through a 308 SB dies. Can not figure how those cases ended up that way.

Next, taking the powder out of the trickler and the end falls off (unscrews). Go to screw it back on and the threads must be stripped. So, what trickler would you buy?

Somedays you just shouldn’t reload! I’ve done the same as you but with 45-70.

i like my rcbs trickler.
