So my day has started out kind of hectic. Had a hard time getting to sleep last night, I saw 2am just to wake up at 7 to get my son ready for school. I hauled my son off to school and my daughter is in the back seat ready for breakfast but we got to run a couple errands first. At which point in time I realized I forgot my wallet and my power of attorney paperwork. so I go to the house to get my wallet and I grab my power of attorney paperwork. I made it halfway in town before I realized that I forgot my wallet the second time. So I drove back to the house and grab my wallet this time and headed to the post office. I got to the post office and the guy there was super friendly and made the change of address and the other paperwork I had to fill out very easy. At this point in time it's already almost 9:20 and my daughter still hasn't eaten breakfast. So I decide I'm going to drive through the Chick-fil-A drive-through and grab us some breakfast in the bag and just take it back to the house and eat it there because I still have to climb up in an attic today to run the new wiring for 3 ceiling fans. I pull up to the window and the lady lets me know that the man in front of me just paid for my meal said his name was Jack and asked me to have a great day. I know this may not seem like much but honestly it was a true blessing. it really made my day to know that somebody else out there who is a complete stranger, someone that I've never met before and we'll probably never ever meet, thought enough of me to pay for my breakfast. This little act really put my morning in to perspective. It reminded me that we are not saved through our own acts and through our own Deeds there's nothing we could ever do to earn our salvation. But that Jesus Christ has already paid the ultimate price and the ultimate sacrifice for our salvation.

May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children.
Psalm 115:14 NIV

That's a great post, Russell.

I eat at Chick-Fil-A so often, they know what I'm ordering when I get to the speaker.

A couple months ago I was behind a Jetta on a backroad one morning that had a blown brake light bulb, and sure enough, the girl ended up behind me in the drive through. I told the CFA clerk I wanted to buy their breakfast, and let them know their driver's side brake light is out.

Saw the car last week... Still has a brake light out.
