I am not affiliated with the auction house or the estate, but I thought this may interest someone here.

I did talk with the auctioneer today and found his tale about the collection to be absolutely riveting.

More on that later.

Here's a pic of the flyer advertising the auction. Edit: The auctioneer's name is Troy. He's not me. Lol

I believe the 50cal has 10 new magazines with it.

That’s some crazy collection. If you go, take a hard look at the S&W 3913. That is a great gun. I’d pay attention to the condition ‘cause I wonder why someone polished the slide so aggressively.

Definitely some interesting stuff there...
12/30 seems like seems like a terrible time to have an auction.
I'm sure they know more about scheduling for max results then I do!

He holds auctions at this location every Monday.

There are a number of things there I'd like. Too bad I'm booked up that day.

I'm out!!!! I'm just a piker...………a poor old man just looking to eek out a meager existence.

LOL. I was just telling my wife that I’ll lose if you are bidding. Hopefully, you come anyway and she can meet you.

Is this turning into a meet and greet? :D

Regardless, it looks like I will just leave change jar at home.

Bring your money. I may need to borrow some depending on how well the next two gun shows go. LOL

Pfffft. You probably have to see a chiropractor now.

Here's how you avoid that; buy a second wallet, put half your money in it, then put it in your other hip pocket. This way, your spine isn't being twisted one way when you're sitting.

I hate to ruin this thread, (I love going to auctions and this one looks like it could be a lot of fun), but I have a question. I am not sure about buying guns in South Carolina as a North Carolina resident. It says that there will be an FFL on-site to handle the transactions. I am assuming I will have to pay him to ship it to a North Carolina FFL. Is that correct?

If it is a long gun, you’ll fill out the 4473 with the FFL on site as normal. If it is a handgun, it will have to go to a NC FFL.

I plan on going and have an FFL in NC. I can hook you up.

You bring money....they'll make it happen! S.C. is like that!!!!!

Well the terms say no mean dogs so I can't go. :(

I don't really see anything for me except maybe the hi-power and the 8 shot S&W. I'd hate to devote my entire day to standing around and watching the CFF bunch out bid me on the first call. :D

I'm off that day and could stop by on the way to see the parents in Columbia though. Should be justification enough to stand around for a few watching others spend their money.

I could always come up with a need for that Boys rifle................
