Is it possible to add this functionality? CSC didn't have it, but ARFCOM does. I always just use the tags for bold, italics, underline and strikethrough. But, it doesn't work here and it's no an option in the editor (A).

Normally type text here would give me strikethrough, but here it just shows the syntax instead.

Comes in handy when editing posts, and you want to change/correct something without removing the old text.

This is pretty easy to do in the admin console. It won't give you a button but will allow for the option.

So, that's something one of the admins should be able to knock out?

Yep, when they get a chance to do so. But let's give the guys some time, they've had a lot to do in the last 48 hours, even aside from their regular life's responsibilities.

By the way, CSC did have this feature.

Awesome.

[strike]testing[/strike]

no way to just make it instead? Similar to bold, italics and underline?

I was just making sure it wasn't something I could do.

Just went and tested it at CSC...it does work with just the "s" instead of "strike". Must be one of the other forums I tried to use it on that doesn't have it. Who knows?

BurnedOutGeek will do you one better, he's going to add a button, so instead of typing any syntax, you can highlight the text and hit a button, similar to what you would do to underline or italicize text.

It's always faster to me to use the syntax. Even on the really long and detailed how-to posts I do. I do the same for the img tags as well. I don't find the buttons as convenient.

Even with having to type strike, I'll probably still do it that way. Seems quicker than making sure I get the highlight exactly right. :D

On the list, but for now the above works.

My CSS is super rusty so bear with me
