Striper Fishing

I trolled for strippers in my younger days, but alas we have to grow up. Went out with a guy today and trolled High Rock. Only got one in the 6 hours we were out there. He was nice enough to let me do the catching even though it was his boat. Took him home and cleaned him up. Soaking up fresh salt water and lemon juice now. Should be ready to eat Wednesday. 22" around 6lbs, didn't take a pic in the boat but I got one before I chopped him up. Guy fishing beside us hooked into 2 31" 12lb fish at the same time.

I had a freaking seal almost jump onto my bow once in the Delta. It was a close call. Scared the crap out of me. How do you get a seal out of the boat.

Way to many fur bags on the west coast. They need a year of open season.
