Sub 2000 gen 2 question

Ok I have one (40sw Glock mags) and wanting to see if anyone here has a optic on one....and what kind of mount. I like the swinging folding ones just wondering if it’s worth the $$$$?

I currently have this one on mine and like it...I use a Primary Arms red dot with it (and previously with the MI below).

Edit...Sorry, I linked and posted the pic of the railed version...I have the micro red dot direct mount (Primary Arms red dot is what I use).

I had the Midwest Industries on it for a while and had no problems at all...two different ways to skin the cat so to speak. Both are nice and do the job. Send me a PM if you might be interested in the MI. I can probably work out a good deal for you!

Had a wonderful member on this forum offered a mount for me to see what I think....man it takes one person to restore my faith in humanity.

I had no luck with the MI mount, wouldn't hold a zero for anything. Groups at 25 yards looked like a shotgun, the irons shot fine.

Same sub2k, put a vortex... whatever the larger dot is. Can't remember the model. Anyway, it wouldn't fold with it on there but it worked OK until it fell off in the middle of a stage. Finished the stage with the irons after the optic hit the ground, and finished the match with the irons. The plastic rail was just too flimsy to hold it under high heat/vibration and through all the match stages.

Maybe my sub2k is just cursed.

Haven’t had a chance to see how it will do yet, seems pretty good to me.
